Manager - Business Development
- The role will be responsible to develop business in line with our current strategy to increase our presence in the commercial and residential construction industry
Key Responsibilities :
- Continually identifies builds and develops new client business within Commercial and residential construction industry by pursing business opportunities with strategic targets in key industries and cultivating relationships with existing clients. Delivers compelling calls and presentations to introduce Hyundai Development Company INDIA capabilities and value proposition.
- Negotiates and communicates complex concepts/business issues with the clients- types of contracts or parts of it.
- Follow up with the client along the execution of a project
- Negotiate potential contract adaptations or extensions when needed
- Identifies and evaluates new markets and partnership opportunities through direct prospecting, networking, attendance and participation with various industry and professional groups and networking associations.
- Provides expertise and direction for the day to day management of bid packages in the development pipeline. Provides client specific opportunity assessment, market evaluation, market research, financial evaluation, and other marketing needs required throughout the proposal preparation and delivery process. Incorporates customer needs and input/feedback from both internal and external groups.
- Be open to new tendencies and opportunities in the market
- Effective delivery and execution of our value proposition
- Identify profitable business and aggressively selling our construction services
- Develop solid, long-term relationships with prospects
- Includes extensive ongoing contact in person
- Assess the targeted quality of business coming in; refocusing efforts if off track
Educational Qualifications :
- Business Degree (Sales / Marketing major preferred) and/or equivalent work experience
- Solid track record of 8 to 12 years of Business development experience in construction industry.
- Proven ability to sell professional services, preferably construction & project management services
- Desire and passion for sales/business development
- Experience selling in a cold calling environment
- Ability to present professional image of self and our company
- A self-starter, proven team player with the ability to build strategic and profitable relationships
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Relentless drive to profitably grow the business
- The ability to focus, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced, high energy environment
