Role Description
Voice presales consultant is responsible for creating solutions around Contact Centre, VoIP, Voice, Networking, Software, Design and Solution architecture based on Cisco or AVAYA technology platforms as a voice offering which shall help sales team to sell effectively.
Between 5 and 8 years of experience across various voice technology platforms with comprehensive knowledge in solution design, presales support based on multi-vendor solutions (like Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, etc.,) The following are the high-level responsibilities:
1. IPT & Contact Center Solution Design
Shall proactively research current and future technologies that strengthen or complement the team’s core capabilities.
2. Keep track of new & end of life solution tenants for various OEM products and platforms.
3. Shall apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of business investments and to assist sales during bid-management process
4. Schedule on-site visits when necessary to meet with customer during bidding process. Maintain familiarity with a variety of consultative concepts, practices, procedures, and industry trends.
5. Provide pre-sales support. Provide solution design; provide inputs to internal team for operational sizing, Statement of Work creation, and time estimates.
6. Creation of Bill of Materials for IPT and CC solution components
7. Creation of RFP responses and other technical writing responses
8. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams for getting new knowledge updates, reference architecture, support methodologies, training etc.
Responsibilities breakup:-

- Cisco Voice Mail Solution Unity / Unity Connection (CUC)
- Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)
- Cisco Unified Presence (CUP)
- Cisco Meeting Place and WebEx Solution
- Cisco Unified Contact Centre Express (UCCX)
- CME, CUE and SRST
- Basic LAN / WAN understanding
Avaya Product Line –
- Avaya Aura / Avaya Communication Manager - Definity, G3R, S8800, S8500,S8300
- G700, G650, G450, G430 gateways
- Modular Messaging , Aura Messaging, Integration with Email
- CCE, Avaya CTI, Avaya AES, Avaya, AIC, AIR/AVP, Avaya Proactive Contact
- One-X Phones, One-X agent, One-X communicator
Generic and Other –
- OEM Specific Licensing regarding IPT, CC domains
- Good understanding of switching concepts
Additional Responsibilities:
- Documentation capabilities, creating architecture diagrams using Visio
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to handle multiple projects at one time.
- Willing to travel onsite for short duration within short notice for presales and customer presentations
