HCL - UK Liquidity & Funding Reporting

Complete the required processes/controls towards the preparation of:

- the FSA047 and 048 returns that are to be submitted on a weekly basis.

- the LMM data on a daily basis to allow the monitoring of the relevant metrics and Group Treasury review.

- Monthly PRA and CRD IV required reporting.

- Work with CTB during the implementation of the new CRD IV and daily LMM reporting to gain a full understanding of the reporting requirements and support the testing of the new business process.

- Work closely with the relevant teams (Product Control, Credit, FSS etc.) to investigate and validate material variances for all reporting and control tasks.

- Control and corroborate the report contents, completing the control checklists and being mindful of the risk assessment associated with every return.

- Identify opportunities to further develop controls, processes, and MIS in order to improve efficiency, mitigate risk and aid decision-making.

- Team Lead Only: Manage the Offshore team and take ownership of team outputs. Ensure that deliverables are met, and outputs and processes are controlled appropriately. Apply knowledge and judgement to resolve issues that arise within the team, providing solutions and discerning when escalation Onshore is required. Identify training and development requirements within the team and proactively address them. Ensure good communication channels are in place to enable fast communication of issues or escalations given the restricted deadlines involved.

Job Requirements:

- Qualified accountant from a solid academic background.

- Prior experience of financial services industry and product set.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements as they apply to banks. Ideally a member of the team will have a good working knowledge of the PRA and CRD IV requirements and could cross train the other members.

- An analytical and enquiring mindset.

- Attention to detail.

- A good level of spoken and written English.

- Experience of operating within a control orientated environment.

- Ability to operate to tight deadlines.

- Team Lead Only: Prior experience of leading teams with reporting deliverables.
