Roles & Responsibility :
- Evaluate market trends, value chain, competition, business and operational models, customer segments, identify opportunities for market entry, market expansion and growth operational improvement, acquisition related synergy assessment.
- Be responsible for understanding the FS- growth vision, business model, trends strategy and planning, and risks.
- Effectively collaborate with sales, solutions, BSG and marketing teams, while staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the FS business.
- Driving key business projects aligned to the corporate strategy, leading to revenue acceleration.
- Lead business planning by analysing various sources of data and trends to build annual budgeting plan and identify key focus areas for the upcoming FY.
- Spearhead FS board presentations for quarterly and annual reviews of FS President with HCL CEO. Own the data for completeness and accuracy by maintaining total control over the data.
- The candidate may be required to lead and support multiple projects simultaneously, as required, while ensuring quality and timely deliverables.
- Assist in business development efforts by leveraging internal network and relationships.
Qualification & Experience :
- MBA/ PGDM
- Relevant exposure/ experience would be considered
Skill Sets required :
- Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking, structured problem solving, taking and leading initiatives.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and generate meaningful insights based on analysis of data and information from primary and secondary research.
- Ability to marry quantitative and qualitative analysis into meaningful storyboards and insights.
- Experience with analysis and modeling using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
- Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build meaningful and collaborative relationships.
- Understanding of the Financial Services Industry and domain would be a plus.
- Entrepreneurial bent of mind and willingness to go above and beyond the stated requirements.
Knowledge Preferred :
- Market Assessment: Experience in market assessment, market sizing and analysis, customer analysis, trend analysis, business case development
- Strategy Development and Business Planning: Current state and gap analysis, future state strategy development, value proposition creation
- Competitor Assessment: Competitor landscape assessment, competitor market performance and strategies, products and offerings analysis, SWOT analysis
- Research Analysis: Ability to synthesize complex information and generate detailed insights based on primary and secondary research information, with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
