Sourcing Advisors are a community of individuals and organizations that work with clients during their outsourcing journeys. They help to create outsourcing strategies, business cases and help to build the RFP. They also influence which service providers are invited to the RFP selection processes, so the relationship that HCL has with Advisors is critical for us.
The day-to-day role of this individual will include:
1. Content Management
Responding to basic RFI documents - capability statements etc.
Navigating to the various SME's within HCL (from BAG, PMG etc) to capture capability information and other HCL metrics (eg. FTE count, customer base, revenues in various regions)
Collating HCL news for the Quarterly Advisor Newsletter
2. Process Management
Supporting the team in the geo's for certain HCCL back office processes - expenditure management, logistical support
3. Contact management
Ownership and ongoing management of the Advisor contact / distribution database
Identification of Advisor individuals in each geo, tracking their movements between Advisor firms, maintaining their contact details (email, LinkedIn, Twitter, phone, designation etc..)
4. Data Management
Analyses of market data and Advisor deal flow
Creation of management reports
- Some experience in one or more of the following areas would be of help:
- Marketing (for Content and Contact Management)
- Program Management (for Process Management)
- Bid Management (for Content Management)
- Data analytics (for Data Management)
