- Deep understanding on Datacenters

- Experience with Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching

- Scripting knowledge such as VB Scripts, PowerCli is an advantage

- Knowledge of Data Guard / Gateways / Storage Management Techniques

- Experience on VMware/ Sun / Veritas / Microsoft Cluster

- Experience in architecting, designing and deploying virtualized infrastructures

- Advanced Knowledge on Install, Configure and Manage VMware DC Virtualization products.

- Understanding of computer server architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID,Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP)

- Knowledge on VMware Datacenter and Management Products like vSphere, vCenter Converter, Lab Manager, Chargeback, Capacity IQ etc is must.

- Work independently and as a member of a team of consultants on engagements with customers, often in a technical leadership role.

- Architect and develop customer solutions based on current hands-on knowledge of the VMware product line, storage, networking.
