- The marketing manager will be required to take complete ownership of Go-To-Market through multiple brand & marketing campaigns across 360 media mix, across AIDA stages for the business unit
- Leadership skills & being able to drive a sense of urgency in the marketing ecosystem will be of paramount importance since the marketing manager will be working with teams in digital marketing, content marketing, thought leadership, corporate brand team, and the ecosystem of agencies to execute the marketing agenda of this unit
- Marketing manager will be responsible for creating and managing AOP of marketing for the unit, working towards brand awareness, & salience, and driving leads through marketing efforts.
- The candidate should display entrepreneurial skills and instinct in undertaking high level strategic analysis and planning, together with development of innovative value propositions for customers
- She/He will be expected to operate cross-functionally to create the value propositions, campaign propositions and execution the annual marketing plan.
- By developing an in-depth understanding of the business unit & technology area, the manager will be expected to recommend key insights for communication and articulation as well as play the advisor for business heads on strategy of the unit.
- Leadership skills & being able to drive a sense of urgency in the marketing ecosystem will be of paramount importance since the marketing manager will be working with teams in digital marketing, content marketing, thought leadership, corporate brand team, and the ecosystem of agencies to execute the marketing agenda of this unit
- Since these are new units which are brand extension of HCL Tech, brand management will be 20% of the role including archetype, architecture creation and management.
- She/He is expected to have experience at building cross function relationships within the organization, particularly at C-Level, senior management level, across complex like HCL
- The role requires the ability to work in extremely high-pressure situations and on time-bound projects. Must be able to work with - virtual- teams across the world and lead / motivate them adopt brand strategies and be flexible to travelling for business
Primary Skills required
- Good understanding & appreciation of brand and marketing concepts. Willing to learn on-the-go
- Strategic thought on concept creation, messaging, utilization of design principles, pitching, planning, analytical and quantitative aptitude
- Creative thinking and wide exposure to good marketing references
- Leadership and stakeholder management
- Collaborative as well as independent manager - flexible approach
- Excellent communication skills
