The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing relationship with select in India.
- Will be responsible for building client relationship from inception, scale up the business to achieve sales, profitability objectives. Win, maintain, & expand relationships with client across their CIO and Engineering business units in India.
- The role requires selling HCL's software product engineering services to clients in India.
- The candidate will report to the Head of sales team and work closely with the Global sales teams for each specific client.
- The candidate must have prior experience of selling software and/or product engineering services to software companies like ISVs, Online, Fintech etc.
- Must have experience of interaction with CIO/CTO and their leadership teams.
Base location : Chennai
- Candidate will need to travel extensively in India as the client portfolio will be spread across multiple cities like Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi region etc
Other Responsibilities will include:
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, proposal preparation, entire sales process execution, account development and management.
- Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong written communication skills and presentation preparation skills.
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients and also internally within HCL.

- Minimum of 6 to 8 years- experience in a professional sales role of selling software and product engineering services
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Willingness and ability to travel domestic and/or international
