Job description
- Understand run the business operations in the client’s environment around Enterprise Applications ( e.g. Custom applications, COTS and Middleware) and map client objectives; business challenges & initiatives to Service offerings across verticals.
- As part of Product Management team you will be assisting Global Sales team and Pre Sales team in creating Solutions, Estimations, Transition plans etc. around Application Operations.
- Assisting Pre Sales team in Responding to RFP’s, RFQs, RFI’s, creating Solution Presentations etc.
- Identifying new business opportunities in existing clients around Application operations.
- Be part of various client visits, bid defence sessions and conducting Due Diligence activities both onsite and offshore.
- As part of solution propose various transformation ideas coverings operations and technology within Application landscape as a potential value to client.
- Working with various other Product Management and Cross functional teams like Sales , Practice , COE, Marketing , Delivery and Finance to construct a joint solution.
- Storyboarding, business case preparation, case studies, and timely proposal delivery for multiple RFPs/RFIs across existing and new clients.
Desired skills and experience
- Have knowledge of outsourcing, managed services, global delivery model and bid management process.
- Strong Pre-Sales/Product Management experience of at least 2-3 years in IT services preferably infrastructure services.
- Understanding of Enterprise Applications such as COTS ( SAP, CRM, PeopleSoft, Core Banking, Salesforce, etc.); Custom Applications (.net, Java, C# etc.) and Middleware ( Websphere, Tibco, JBOSS etc.)
- Understanding of concepts around Application Development , SDLC and Application Maintenance.
- Understanding of Infrastructure Services such as Servers, Storage, Networks, Security etc. will be an added advantage.
- Analysis and evaluation of new opportunities.
- Have excellent writing, comprehension and communication skills
- Sound strategic and analytical thinker
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Analytical skills, with the ability to read large amounts of information in a short time
- Team Player and willing to work in flexible hours
- Onsite client management experience will be an asset
- Willing to Travel overseas on short notice.
