Role:

- Business Enablement and Support Team (BEST) is a part of HCL Technologies global sales organization and has been set up to accelerate existing business growth.

- An account manager who works in this role will be engaged in a variety of tasks including account ownership, project management, coordination, strategic planning, relationship management, negotiation, leadership and innovative development of opportunities, and keeping record of all account related activities.

Attributes and Skills:

- Excellent sense of ownership.

- Excellent oral, written communication skills, good presentation skills with focus on effective information dissemination.

- Excellent understanding of account management roles and responsibilities.

- Understanding of HCL (or alike) business model.

- Analytical and problem solving skills and ability to follow through processes to closure.

- Good inter-personnel skills - coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

- Deadline driven & Self-motivated.

- Experience of using MS Excel™ (pivots, macros etc.), MS Word™, MS Power point™ for analysis, process mapping and reporting.

- Prior account management/direct sales/inside sales is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage medium to large teams

- Contribute towards cross-sell/upsell business.

- Manage accounts from a sales relationship perspective and be responsible for end-to-end sales cycle.

- Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the HCL's targets.

- Account Plans and Analytics.

- Establish budgets with the client and company.

- Own and manage all Billing & Invoice related activities for the account.

- Coordinate & follow-up with multiple teams including, but not limited to Finance, project managers, resourcing, delivery.

- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts by up-selling and cross-selling.

- Participate in the creation of techno-commercial business cases & proposals for customers.

- Meet time deadlines for accounts.

- Coordinate sales & marketing programs and promotions and generate periodic and special reports.

- Market, Industry Segment, Account specific research and analysis.

Qualification:

- 10-15 years of experience preferably in IT industry.

- Graduate with MBA/ PGDM.

- Open for 24X7 timings

- Understanding of IT Infrastructure services & account management role and responsibility.
