Category Manager
- Responsible for heading & managing the P&L of the Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances Category (CEHA) for HCL Consumer Distribution.
- To oversee the overall profitability through maximizing value and volume sales at national level for the assigned category.
- Analyze marketing trends and tracking competitors- activities and providing valuable inputs for fine tuning the sales & marketing strategies.
- Estimate the consumer demand for the product, stay informed of any competing products on the market and develop pricing strategies.
- Developing quarterly and annual operating plans.
- Deliver monthly revenue forecast.
- Responsible for Demand forecasting & Ageing analysis.
- Manage Sales promotions and principal claim management.
- To maintain relationship with the principle partner through regular review meets.
- To increase Sales & sales efficiency and to grow market and market share in the division.
- Manage on-time collections and compliance with BR norms
- Should have good understanding towards Pricing and Schemes.
- Train the trainer for upcoming products.
- Customer Management
- Build and manage partner/vendor relationships and gauge new opportunities.
- Responsible for managing customer escalations, customer problems, account conflicts and participate in important negotiations with key customers.
- People Management & Development
- Enable competency development and capability building within the Organization.
- Responsible for performance management & calibration of the team.
- Responsible for overall Productivity of ASMs and their development.
- Responsible to imbibe organization's culture & vision amongst the team members.
- Corporate Governance
- Lead by example in following code of conduct, corporate governance policies, & other Company policies and processes.
- Abide by the law of land.
- Play the role of HCL brand ambassador.
