Role - Sales
Location - Bangalore, India
Designation - Business Manager
Responsibilities
- New and existing sales (primarily EN+EE in one of the large accounts) with focus on India Development Centre for a large telecom and networking account.
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the account that ensures attainment of sales goals and revenue targets.
- Provides strategic engagement oversight / maintains client relationship for a large account in telecom and networking market including VP/SVP relationships.
- Drives revenue growth of $xxM by leveraging both technical and business propositions in this large account to drive growth.
- Delivers sales support to sales team in US on need basis to close deals, leveraging relationships in India development centre
Profile / background
- 12 to 17 years of experience in a global environment – at least 6 years of Sales / Consulting experience.
- Experience in engineering services preferred, any experience in Product or Solution management or business development or alliances will be ideal.
- Strong understanding and experience in both software and hardware technologies in telecom, networking, collaboration, datacenter including trends, market dynamics and customer requirements
- Good understanding of product business value chain will be preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in a global environment.
- Excellent client relationship skills and ability to interact with CXO leadership of the key account.
- Should be a upbeat, energetic, go-getter individual, capable of working in a start-up kind of an environment
- Past background in creating and closing Large Deals, software solutions is a plus
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
KPIs
- Revenue: EN+EE in an existing account. Bookings $ in an existing account.
- Margins : EN + NN in an existing account
Qualifications:
- B.S in Computer Science or Telecommunications
- MBA (preferred)
