Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the orchestration of the opportunity life cycle proactively ( end to end )
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners & customers, discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining internal & external networks;
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Think through difficult problems in a consultancy environment and drive solutions to reality
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
- Work with product management teams for achieving revenue targets of the business unit
- Map out the key players in the customer account and determine sales implementation strategy
- Get the solutions designed specific to individual customer's requirements
- Drive business growth by working with OEM partners, channel partners, and sales counterparts
- Experience in inside sales would be added advantage
- Experience of developing and managing sales pipeline
- Work in a dynamic & collaborative environment
Desired Skills & Qualifications :
- 7 years + total work experiences, has been in the business development role in at least 5 years especially in the IT industry
- Experience in Global business is preferred
- Exposure to the technologies like Cloud computing IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Big data, mobility.
- Detailed understanding of products and propositions under business development
- Experienced Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Consultant / Accounts Management Executive
- Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across all areas of the business
- Ability to meet travel requirements, whenever applicable
- Visa readiness for Schengen, US & UK would be good to have.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Fast learning, teamwork, good analytical, consulting and problem solving skills, strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- MBA with marketing specialization from a reputed institute
