Job Description :
- Responsible for meeting the sales target for the Aerospace & Defense business in India
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities that will result in consistent and predictable revenue and propel growth in the Aerospace & Defence for HCL in India
- Develop relationships with the various government bodies like DRDO labs, HAL, NAL, BEL etc. in order to meet revenue numbers
- Draw out a short / mid and long term plan for growth in India and implement it
- Map the landscape of business in the Aerospace & Defense sector in India
- Help displace competition and build strong entry barriers among the customers
- Understand the sales funnel and work closely with sales and finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and other periodic reports for the senior management highlighting the performance as well as execution results/progress
Desired Skills and Experience :
- A thorough knowledge of the Aerospace and Defense landscape in India
- Proven experience in selling into the Aerospace & Defense Industry in India
- An excellent network of contacts and prior relationships with the players in the Aerospace & Defense sector
- Ability to articulate the solutions and services offered by HCL ERS to the relevant stakeholders in the customer organization
- Have the requisite commercial & business acumen to participate in bid management, contracting & commercial negotiation of bids as per Company guidelines with internal and external stakeholders
- Should be able to drive new business opportunities along with delivery teams from capability presentation to SOW negotiations and signing of deals
- Develop good understanding of the customer business from both a business and technology perspectives
