ASM Consultant- Group Project Manager/AGM/DGM/GM at Chennai or Noida

Professional with experience on multiple Application Support and Maintenance (ASM) engagements with multiple interfaces.

- At least three ASM program management experience (two medium and one large) & 12 - 15 years of delivery experience in top IT service companies

- Sound/good understanding of quality processes and ITIL V 3.0 framework

Overall Purpose/context of the job:

- Partner across stakeholders to provide ASM expertise, provide thought leadership to the ASM engagements (Large and medium). Will work closely with the CoE head for strategy, planning, execution and support the assigned ASM engagements across verticals and horizontals.

- Context is medium to large ASM engagements (multiple functions, multiple engagements and multiple interfaces and / or 3rd party vendors)

Primary Responsibilities:

- Establish and drive strategic and tactical ASM initiatives within the assigned verticals / horizontals

- Develop service Articulation

- ASM process, standards, tools and frameworks to be deployed in ASM engagements

- Contribute to development and implementation of a common ASM governance and associated reporting metrics

- Own a set of ASM engagements, incubate / implement ASM processes, tools and framework across verticals/ horizontals

- To be single point of contact for success of ASM engagements assigned to

- Periodic reviews /audits / facilitation of ASM engagements and arrive at improvement plans for gap, if any

- Benchmark ASM services – best in Industry / organizations

- Provide ASM training (basic and advanced) to team members / projects

- Identify and drive automation opportunities around ASM services that will improve operational efficiency and service effectiveness

- Provide presales support to large and medium engagements (prospects)

- Consulting

- Review of SOWs/Contracts

- Customer acquisition

Relationship and communication:

- Effectively communicates and builds rapport within the team, stakeholders and other business partners

- Conducts complex group meetings and gathers information and analyze to arrive at solutions

- Prepares and delivers presentations to business partners, sr. management and presales teams

Managerial / Operational Excellence:

- Define deliverables and execute with least slippage

- Ability to do research and learn new things in the ASM and related space
