- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. This role focuses on personal outreach to key decision-makers within mid-sized organizations to drive new business opportunities.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development (BD), client development, or account management, preferably from an agency environment, with a proven ability to build lasting relationships and manage the entire sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Outreach & Acquisition:
- Identify, target, and engage key decision-makers within mid-sized organizations for business opportunities.
- Build a pipeline of prospects by leveraging your network, industry events, and creative prospecting methods.
Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in potential client organizations.
- Understand client needs, business challenges, and goals to present tailored solutions and create value propositions.
- Nurture long-term relationships to facilitate repeat business and customer loyalty.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies for client outreach, including developing sales pitches, presentations, and proposals.
- Drive the entire sales process from prospecting and qualification to closing deals.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the account management and delivery teams to ensure the smooth transition of clients and proper fulfilment of their needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and other sales team members to ensure alignment and a consistent approach across all outreach efforts.
- Team Management: The role involves managing an Assistant Manager and working collaboratively to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring your subordinate, ensuring alignment with overall sales goals, and fostering a productive team dynamic to drive success.
- Prospecting and Sales Strategy: The ideal candidate must be a proactive, self-starting individual with the initiative to generate leads and develop their own sales pipeline. A strong focus on prospecting, crafting effective sales strategies, and consistently pursuing new business opportunities is crucial for success in this role.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in a business development (BD), client development, or account lead role, ideally within an agency or similar fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in reaching out to and engaging mid-sized organization decision-makers.
- Existing network and goodwill with clients to be able to open door and on-board clients for digital services
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and proposal-writing skills.
- Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools and MS Office (ppt and excel)
- Ability to think strategically and tailor approaches to each prospect's unique needs.
- Needs to be a self starter, goal oriented and driven to achieve targets
- Should be organised and structured and be able to manage & motivate a team
