Electronic Procurement Specialist

We are looking for Electronics Buyer to be based out at Bangalore.

Job title: Electronic Procurement Specialist, CRI Bangalore

Key Responsibilities & Duties :

- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, components, and services

- Researching and identifying prospective electronic suppliers and electronic manufacturers

- Interacting with vendors for arranging samples

- Price negotiation with vendors for R&D and mass production

- Preparing BOM for product trials and mass production

- Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria

- Provide product manufacturing support

- Travel to vendor locations towards supplier quality and improvement

- Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures

- Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving vendors

- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records

- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

- Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts

- Stay up to date on electronic industry trends and new IoT products

- Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing

Work experience and skills :

- Proven work experience of minimum 10-12 years as a Procurement Specialist or similar role

- Good understanding of electronic components

- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software

- A bachelor's degree in Electronics with supply chain management or a similar field preferred

- Candidate should be proficient in vendor search and development for one-off electronic/electro-mechanical components, in both online and offline mode
