- Understand the business, industry and suggest appropriate comp models.
- Analyse effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives.
- Guide business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay and stock compensation.
- Manage the C&B administration and operations
- Facilitate the Annual Salary Review process including promotions and hiring fitments
- Support the manpower cost budgeting process and monitor budget metrics
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc)
- Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices
- Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports
- Conduct custom surveys with key industry contacts, as needed.
- Excellent analytical and operational skills
- Strong interest in innovative HR solutions and process improvement
- Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements
- Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational & documentation skills
