HackerEarth is an AI-powered developer assessment software that helps companies accurately measure a developer's skills through online coding tests. It takes a skill-based approach to assessment, allowing companies to automatically generate standardized tests based on various skills and then accurately measure the developer's performance on those skills. We have assessed more than 2 million candidates, support 41 different programming languages, provide 8 different types of assessment techniques and enable assessments across 100+ different skills. HackerEarth also has a community version of the product that is used by developers across the globe, to assess their coding skills, become better at it and measure their true potential.

Location: Bangalore.

Work Mode: Hybrid.

The key responsibilities of this role would be as follows:

- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to SAAS agreements, vendor agreements, customer agreements, consultancy agreements, partnership agreements, referral agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), licensing agreements, and employment agreements.

- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential legal risks associated with business decisions and develop strategies to minimize them.

- Compliance: Ensure that the company complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and proactively identify areas for improvement in compliance practices.

- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with different teams within the company and provide actionable advice to align with company objectives.

- External Counsel Coordination: Collaborate with external legal advisors on complex legal matters, ensuring that strategies align with the company's goals and interests.

- Advisory: Examine the legal issues related to new products and services and provide legal solutions; Evaluate new partnerships with vendors and partners.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional experience in legal practice, with a strong background in corporate law, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance.

- Skills: Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills along with strong communication skills.

- Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Expertise: Proven knowledge in corporate law, contracts, risk management and legal frameworks relevant to corporate operations.

- License: Licensed to practice law from the State Bar Association.
