Knowledge & Skills:

Essential Desirable:

- Able to coordinate the operations of an organization's IT service unit to achieve set objectives.

- Skilled in operating, installing, and troubleshooting computer systems and network to ensure efficient IT operations

- Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Ability to succeed in a dynamic, rapidly changing highly matrixed business environment.

- Strong, proven record of delivering multiple IT projects and services to support business initiatives.

- Excellent organizational skills, strong people and teamwork and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels, ability to identify and leverage the right people, processes, and tools to achieve planned results on time and on budget.

- Competent in ITIL and service architecture as well as working knowledge of software design, prototyping and testing.

- Project management background. Good knowledge of project, risk and operations management

- Good written and communication skills in English.

- Experience of leading large IT transformation/re-organization programs.

- Understanding of the Higher Education Business & financial acumen.

- Ability to understand, plan, track and be accountable for department budgets, proficient in building detailed schedule and cost plans for systems integration projects

Experience:

Essential Desirable:

- 12+ years' experience in IT management/country, working with business leadership teams and driving IT, specific IT operations of IT infrastructure, including, servers operating systems (Windows and Linux), network equipment (e.g PF Sense Firewalls, router, switches, etc), telephony, end-user computing including for Microsoft and Mac, managing VM Ware and MS Office 365 ecosystem - N/A
