GSK - Senior Manager - Site Tech Business Partner

Reporting to : Regional Tech Business Partner

Job Purpose :

Overall leadership of the site Tech team and accountability for Technology (IT) on site, this role will ensure alignment between business and IT objectives by ensuring that IT strategy and business impact is understood by the Site Leadership Team.

- IT Business Partner for Site Director & Site Leadership Team (SLT). Represent IT in site governance forums.

- Overall accountability for Site IT Quality, Risk & Compliance.

Responsibilities :

- Generate, maintain and deliver an IT roadmap for site, and drive site/business requirements (includes changes, improvements, etc.) into central awareness via regular liaison with IT Business Process Partners and IT Business Process Analysts.

- Ensure site exploits IT strategies and has plans to move to strategic standards.

- Implement GMS IT strategies at site(s) - operating model, strategic controls, governance.

- Engage with site tiered accountability process and participate in IT Performance Management processes. Site point of contact for all IT requests and escalations.

- Line-manage site IT team, ensuring capability is enhanced and on-going development takes place.

- Align central project delivery to site strategies and plans.

- Drive simplification and standardization for IT systems at site.

- Ensure exploitation of systems to drive & embed value.

- Management of IT OPEX and CAPEX.

- Ensure inspection readiness of IT e.g. validation lifecycle documentation is implemented and maintained in accordance with procedural and regulatory expectations.

- Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the business areas supported, and to participate as required in the relevant business management meetings.

- Provide - technical- and - business awareness- support to the site IT management team, to enable the appropriate definitions and priorities of IT services required for the site.

Minimum Requirements :

- Would prefer state domicile (Karnataka) potential talents.

- B.E. / B. Tech in IT/Computer Science with 15+ years, or MCA / Master's Degree in Computers / Post Graduate Diploma in Computers with 12+ years of experience.

- Broad knowledge and understanding of Digital or IT systems (in particular SAP) and how they apply, or could be applied, to support business process areas.

- Thorough understanding of business area strategic goals, processes and workflow, and of the Digital or IT tools deployed in support.

- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle, Agile Delivery (Value, Flow, Quality) Approach and Project Management methodologies.

- Familiar with the concepts, standards, technology, tools, processes, procedures, hardware, software and services in use for delivering information services.

- Ideally with experience in a manufacturing environment with a good understanding of manufacturing principles and practices.

- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to learn new concepts, systems, and software independently and quickly.

- Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to plan own work to meet objectives, and to work independently.

- Understanding of Supply Chain business processes & SAP experience.

- Holder of ITIL Foundation certificate.

- Knowledge and experience working with Six Sigma/Lean Sigma processes and tools.

- Broad knowledge and understanding of Digital or IT systems (in particular SAP).
