Process & Systems Lead - Learning


Full-Time, Bangalore, India


We are looking for an experienced learning process and systems professional who will lead the development and implementation of Learning Technology related global processes and systems in GSK. The role supports the long-term strategic ambition of fundamentally improving the way in which employees can learn, perform and develop by leveraging technology in an integrated and innovative way. You will assess and articulate business requirements, analyse design options, seek out and assess solution simplification opportunities. You will also monitor standards adoption and adherence and drive the business towards common, standard global solutions.

Key responsibilities include:


- Identify new and better ways of working in order to accelerate the function towards achieving its strategic ambition i.e. changing/improving the - personal development journey-, using technology to integrate data to provide insights to help the business and individuals develop and perform.


- Ensure connectivity on all the component elements of HR that learning, performance and talent influence, e.g. workforce planning, operating model & governance, integration of data across learning, performance and talent platforms.


- Establish and lead the implementation of clear processes, system governance and structure across the learning area.


- This will include the rationalization of the application portfolio as and when the opportunities arise to do so.


- Perform the role of the Business Systems Owner for the SuccessFactors LMS, the mySkills and myGadget in-house applications


- Ensure the monthly and quarterly governance processes run effectively for the LMS


- Lead the facilitation of the LMS Governance and Standards Committee


- Ensuring improvements across the agreed priority areas, e.g. external spend, quantity and quality of learning, integration of data/technology across learning/performance/talent and compliance


- Research and investigate evolving trends and opportunities in learning to support the broader strategy development and help to manage any subsequent implementations to ensure consistent deployment and uptake across GSK


- Research and investigate best practice use of learning platforms across external organisations and identify opportunities to incorporate learning's into GSK's current and future use of the platforms

- Thorough knowledge of learning management processes and systems


- Experience in the implementation of SuccessFactors Learning


- Understanding and practical experience of how learning experience platforms work and integrate with applications to provide a high quality user experience


- Be able to analyse problems or areas for opportunity in learning solutions involving all Learning technology solutions for business problems, think through end-to-end user journeys and identify potential issues/pain points and how the learning solutions could help to solve those issues.


- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate those to a business context


- Strong negotiation and influence skills with stakeholders to enable the best solution choice for GSK


- Functional knowledge of SAP Jam, Workday and Veeva Quality Docs would be an advantage
