Key Accountabilities:

Financial Accounting:

- Ensure consolidation of accounts and audit of same

- Balance Sheet Review on Monthly basis

- IFRS and INDAS understanding

Internal Controls:

- Compliance with Internal Financial Control

Internal Audit:

- Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX)

- Market Visits

- Visit to the Factories/Bakeries

Direct Tax:

- Tax Audit

- Key Relationships

- Internal / External Auditors

- Unit finance team

- Cross functional team

Essential Skills Required:

- Excellent business acumen, with strong knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements, processes and IFRS and INDAS reporting.

- High level of technical & analytical skills and effective utilization of the most up-to-date and current finance practices and processes

- Strategic capability with the ability to influence decisions and directions.

- Strong leadership, interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.

At present, Grupo Bimbo India has three prominent brands - Harvest Gold, Modern Foods & Kitty Bread.

Harvest Gold sells bakery brand which was acquired in 2017 as part of its India entry. This has brought the expertise and experience of Grupo Bimbo to the Harvest Gold kitchen and took the brand's legacy of quality products to new heights.

Grupo Bimbo acquired Modern Foods in February 2021. Modern is an iconic brand that pioneered the concept of bread, and literally created the bread category in India. Modern bread is available nationally in close to 100,000 stores and manufactured in 40 factories across India. Modern Foods operates through a distribution network which covers 80,000 plus retailers across the country.

Grupo Bimbo acquired Kitty Industries in November 2021. Kitty Bread is the largest manufacturer of bread & bakery products in Punjab. The unit is selling its products in northern India covering states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Chandigarh, Uttaranchal, Western U.P & Rajasthan. The products are distributed in these states through a supply chain of approx. 1750 including distributors, retailers, institutional and food processing, and manufacturing industries.
