Job Description : This is a Sales and Marketing/Growth Lead mandate for an Indian start-up in the foods space. This person would be responsible for the business strategy for the portfolio and would lead the brand launch from the front. This is an opportunity to build a brand in India and requires someone with experience around it.
Client Details :
Our client is an Indian major in private labelling in the foods FMCG world and has been growing from strength to strength by being the manufacturing partner to many Indian food companies. With their resources, they are now launching their FMCG portfolio that would identify white spaces in the market and capture them. They are looking for a Growth Head who would oversee the strategy for the FMCG portfolio and plan the launch and growth of the same in the Indian market.
Description :
The incumbent would report into the CEO and would be responsible to :
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors
Profile :
The successful candidate should :
- Be a Management Graduate with 10+ Years of relevant experience from the sales and marketing domain in the FMCG space
- Have and analytical mindset with a proven track record in delivering results across building strategies for online, offline, e-commerce and technology
- Be someone who wants to work in a start-up and is entrepreneurial in intent
