Product Manager (Req No 6995)

You will actively participate in the entire development lifecycle of our projects and are expected to own the business relationships, work closely with the software engineers and product teams to define strategy, requirements and timelines as well as leading large cross-functional development teams through design, delivery, and subsequent operation.

You will assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business benefit.

Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail driven and have excellent problem solving abilities.

Should not only be passionate about delivering extensible, on-time solutions, but should also be obsessed with contributing to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, continuous process improvement, and mentorship.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience as Product/Program Management with a record of successful delivery of software systems.

- Experience in managing the complete software development lifecycle for software applications, experience driving cross functional initiatives.

- Handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Good written, verbal communication skills.

- Detail oriented with strong prioritization skills.

- Ability to work independently and excellent problem solving skills is a must

- Communicate with management and senior executives about product direction, strategy and upcoming projects.

- Fluent English is required. Additional languages would be a bonus

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

- MS or MBA preferred

- Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, leadership skills essential to successful program/project management.

- Prior experience as a software engineer or software dev manager or technical program manager

- Experience developing Internet products and technologies.
