Group Product Manager-Heavy Duty
Position open for Group Product Manager-Heavy Duty with a leading company in Oil & Lubricants.
JD-
- Assist in managing the product & services planning process to develop offers /action plans based on analysis & understanding of customer / OEM/consumers in order to achieve company goals.
- Actively implement action plans to drive in year as well as long term growth by identifying relevant customer / consumer need states and occupying the same
- Environment scan to update on emerging opportunities, risk areas and amending plans as needed
- Collaborate cross functionally to further the innovation process from ideation to launch. Develop Route to market plans for product & services launches that meet expectations & deliver business results
Business delivery
- Drive development of the annual budget for the portfolio, build sales forecast by liaising with sales team, develop annual plan including detailed activity calendar to deliver space targets
- Plan and track optimum and effective utilization of resources between activities to achieve the objectives
- Help Marketing Manager to deliver Volume and GM responsibility for the space. Facilitate new product & service communication development material including product selling tools for sales team, leaflet & broachers, education material that sharply connects and wins with consumer, customer and influencers.
- Participation in industry specific conferences and seminars thru appropriate medium.
- Help execute relevant and meaningful innovative offers for the B2B segment customers
Conduct research and analysis
- Initiate relevant B2B segment research for generating customer / consumer insight validating product &
services offers
- Gather and analyze relevant information so as to make the best recommendations and confident decisions
- Interpret and evaluate information related to sales, P&L, promotional evaluation, competition, and qualitative / quantitative research
Manage Key Relationships
- Relationship management with Strategic Accounts and HD OEMs
- Manage and develop product & services solution in alignment with different HD OEMs
- Manage private label / Joint branded labels products for key HD OEMs
- Establish and maintain an interface and a good working relationship with both technical and key heads responsible in Customer organization that the sales team supports
