Group Product Manager - Wallet / Prepaid Cards / Giftcards
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision:
- Define and articulate a compelling vision and strategy for PPI and credit card products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
End-to-End Product Development:
- Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, focusing on building PPI solutions from the ground up, with an emphasis on user experience and scalability.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to validate product concepts, identify customer pain points, and discover opportunities for differentiation in the prepaid space.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with engineering, design, compliance, and marketing teams to drive product development from concept to launch, ensuring that all products meet business and user requirements.
Roadmap and Prioritization:
- Create and maintain detailed product roadmaps, prioritizing features and initiatives based on user feedback, market trends, and strategic business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies, to gather insights that inform product direction.
User-Centric Design Approach:
- Champion a user-first design philosophy, ensuring that PPI products deliver seamless and engaging experiences that meet consumer needs.
Performance Monitoring:
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track product performance, analyze data, and iterate on features and strategies based on insights.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure all products adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Mentorship & Leadership:
- Mentor junior product managers and foster a strong product culture within the organization.
Qualification & Experience: 7+ years of product management experience in the fintech industry, with a focus on prepaid instruments (wallets and prepaid cards). Experience with credit cards is a plus.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, PPI regulations, and credit card frameworks.
Analytical Skills:
- Expertise in data analysis and a metrics-driven approach to decision-making.
Leadership:
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Communication Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
