Group President - mid-size high growth group Training / Education + Allied Services - Mumbai
The Organization (About the Client)
Our client is a mid-size high growth group into training / education (20+ units, 8+ locations with plans to double each of above in next 5 years).
The group is reengineering itself both quantitatively and qualitatively by up-gradation of current infrastructure, people and processes.
In addition there are independent group companies dealing with
(1) Civil Projects & Interiors
(2) Education Technology
(3) Supplies
(4) Transport
The plan is to extend reach to serve external customer too and double the turnover in three years.
In addition the group is planning to diversify vertically and horizontally.
The Role / Job Description:
A) Reporting to the Management Board
B) To lead the quantitative and qualitative re-engineering of the group, specially,
(1) Training / Education chain - Mentor the leadership team to achieve up-gradation of academic and operational excellence.
(2) Lead the up-gradation and commercialization of the allied service company, by expanding offerings and targeting external customers.
(3) Explore opportunities vertically and horizontally (technology, ed-tech etc.)
The Candidate Details
(1) Male / Female
(2) Age : 56 to 62 yrs
(3) MBA (Premium) (+ Engineering - preferred)
(4) Initial grounding in a large system driven company
(5) Group CEO of a mid-size, multi-company / group
(6) Rich track record of ;
(a) Reengineering and growing existing businesses
(b) Diversification
(c) Mentoring the next line of leadership
(7) Entrepreneurial person with strong people and commercial skills desired.
Work Experience: 30 - 35 yrs
