We are looking CA with 5-8 years- experience for the position of Group Manager Finance.
Planning and Budgeting :
1. Preparation of Annual Budget.
2. Preparation of Rolling Forecasts.
3. Preparation of Latest Estimates
Strategy and Risk Management :
1. Implementing and following Hedging policy
2. Keep track of the forex movements
3. To highlight periodically the risks / opportunities in the business based on lead/lag metrics.
Preparation of MIS :
1. Preparation of monthly MIS Statements.
2. Gap Analysis of the monthly MIS statements.
3. Preparation of Gap statements between Budget & actual for all elements of revenue and costs
4. To monitor and report Business parameters (short/medium/long) for SBU's to facilitate improvement plans.
Accounts & Audits :
1. Ensures statutory accounts are maintained
2. Statutory Audits
3. Internal Audits
4. Stock audit
5. Fixed assets audit.
IT :
1. To improve System and Processes in SAP so as to deliver information required for the SBU's and management.
2. To manage organizational changes for improved data flow.
3. Monitor and maintain IT work related to SAP
Operation and Controls :
1. Ensuring that the company sets and maintains all financial and operational procedures in such a way, as to be able to fulfill the accountability requirements and any policy directives that may be the issued by the MGT.
2. To monitor the effective operation of committees and/or systems to deal with such activities as risks and business continuity/recovery.
3. To ensure the effective financial monitoring of all projects, including new areas of operation.
4. Plan and manage the tax liabilities under existing and proposed legislation. Evaluate the tax liability impact of contemplated courses of action, minimize the tax burden and deal with tax authorities.
To achieve statutory compliances in line with the Group requirement and to protect Company's interest at all levels :
Other areas of potential responsibility: company insurance, import/export administration, licensing, contracts and agreements, legal areas and activities, corporate level negotiations (e.g. premises, plant, trading, acquisitions and divestments, disposals), major supplier / customer / partner relationships, regulatory bodies relationships and strategies, approvals and accreditations Plan and manage cash flow and investment activity - the latter in consultation with Management to support firms expansion
Capital raising and Fund allocation strategies :
1. Decisions regarding credit ceilings and payment periods
2. Ensuring Import export payments and documentation
3. Ensure timely payment to vendors and payment received from buyers
Provide inputs to improve SBU profitability :
1. Analysis to identify avenues of profitability.
2. Provide inputs on improvement areas to increase efficiency.
3. To implement Cost Control / reduction measures for SBU's to achieve / improve profitability.
