Group Manager - Business Continuity Planning (BCP & DRP)

Designation : Group Manager – BCP & DR (Business Continuity Planning & Disaster Recovery)

Location : Mumbai

No Shifts (Standard Working Hours)

Key Accountabilities:

- Managing all business continuity planning activities at Mumbai and all international locations.

- Completion and revision of Business Impact Analysis (‘BIA’) exercises for all clients at the Mumbai and international locations;

- Conducting risk assessment (‘RA’) exercises for each operating premises at Mumbai and international locations on a periodic basis;

- Creating business continuity strategies for clients (per contractual commitments or on basis of client / internal requests);

- Creating / ensuring updates to business continuity plans (by liaising with appropriate personnel from operations and other enabling units);

- Managing implementation of business continuity strategies / plans approved by clients (by liaising with appropriate personnel from operations and other enabling units);

- Conducting periodic training sessions and awareness audits for key participants in the recovery process;

- Conducting periodic testing exercises as per testing calendars (developed internally or as agreed with clients);

- Acting as the central coordinator for actual / potentially disruptive incidents at the Mumbai and the international locations;

- Conduct audits at periodic intervals to review implementation of business continuity plans;

- Assisting the Head of BCP with client management / business development-related activities (e.g. completion of RFPs, client visits).

- Should be a good Team player

Essential Qualifications :

- More than 7 Years of experience (IT/ITES/BPO)

- Minimum 5 years of experience in BCP space

- Must have handled at least one or more full BCP project lifecycle implementation/maintenance.

- Strong understanding of BCP concepts;

- Good understanding of business processes and good analytical skill-sets;

- Good understanding of technology concepts (especially those pertaining to BCP, including but not restricted to networking, data backup, IT redundancy / resiliency measures);

- Good verbal communication and written documentation skills.

- MBA / Degree in computer science or Accountancy is a must.

- CA/ICWAI will have an added advantage

- BCP certification from BCI / DRI will be an added advantage
