Group Leader - Industrial Engineering/Production Planning - Tyre Mfg

We are looking for a person who has experience in both "Industrial Engineering" & "Production Planning".

Position: Group Leader – PPC/IE/IS

Reporting: Unit Head

Main purpose of the job:

- PPC: To formulate the production plan to meet the tickets

- IE: To formulate the capacity at each work center and to monitor continuously to achieve productivity levels

- IS: Implementation and development of new IT applications/hardware as per business needs

KPIs and Dimensions:

- PPC: Strict adherence to meet the production at all work centres

- IE: Strict adherence to the productivity levels

- Ensure robust Manpower rationalization & deployment at all work centres based on the IE study

- IS: Minimize Infrastructure downtime including LAN Network Uptime

- Ensure compliance on ISO 27001 IT data security policy

Role & Responsibility:

PPC:

- Meeting of the ticketed production in right quantity at right quantity

- React to market situation, based on replenishment of FG

- Inventory Management and reconciliation

- Coordination on behalf of plant between Supply Chain & Purchase

- Providing future RM estimation for Purchase for Purchase Planning

IE:

- Responsible for Plant Layout & to make new proposals as & when the need arises

- Manpower Rationalization & Manpower related studies

- MHE requirement standardization

- To conduct periodic Value Stream Mapping & to coordinate SMED projects for proposing improvements for process flow & product change overs

- Review & Monitor Process studies, arrive at optimal norms & industrial engineering standards

IS:

- Take care of new IT requirements

- Interaction with HO IT to roll out Corporate IT projects

- Monitor Plant LAN network and all IT systems like Video Surveillance, Attendance, Access Control, PA Systems, SCALA Players, LED displays

- Monitor the performance of applications like SAP
