Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate the group's overall strategic vision and long-term objectives, in alignment with the company's mission and values.
- Lead the strategic planning process, working closely with senior leadership and business unit heads to identify key priorities, opportunities, and risks.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate potential growth opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and new business ventures, and lead the execution of strategic initiatives.
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency across the organization by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Develop robust performance metrics and KPIs to monitor progress against strategic goals and objectives, and regularly report on key insights and findings to senior leadership.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies relevant to the education and healthcare sectors, and assess their potential impact on the business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including industry partners, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the strategy team, fostering professional development and career growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy development, business consulting, or corporate leadership roles, preferably within the education or healthcare sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic plans that drive growth and maximize value creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from inception to completion.
