- Hands on experience of liaising with overseas vendors mainly from China, Korea, Vietnam, Italy etc.

Project Management:

- Proficient in handling various Sourcing Projects to get price advantage & to maintain the cost within the budget.

- Skilful in using various sourcing levers to get the price advantage such as Insourcing/Outsourcing, Make Vs Buy, Contracts, Negotiations, Hedging/Forward Buying, VE/VA, Volume Consolidation, LCC Sourcing, Alternate Supplier, Alternate Material. Vendor Development

- Part of Vendor Cluster Program. It involves handholding of suppliers to improve on 5S, My Machine Concept, Green Mgmt.,

Quality Improvement & Productivity improvement:

- Identifying and developing dedicated alternate vendor source to achieve cost, quality & delivery objectives.

- Developing foreign & local vendors to buy critical parts & components.

- Vendor assessment based on various criteria such as Mgmt. Responsibility, Mfg. Technology, Production Capability, Quality Assurance, Financial Stability, Environment & Safety, Logistics & 5S etc.

Materials & Inventory Management:

- Forecasting, planning, scheduling of commodity/component.

- Effective co-ordination with vendors for uninterrupted & steady supply chain.

- Maintain effective stocks to maintain healthy working capital of the company.

Manufacturing / Production / Operations Management:

- Managing the complete production / operations of the plant as well as OEM supplier.

- To ensure all the legal compliances of the factory
