Group Head - Media Planning

Our client is a leading global media communications agency committed to delivering sharper insights, smarter ideas, and stronger results. It is a subsidiary of the largest media services conglomerate in the world. They provide a range of services globally including communications strategy, media planning and buying, digital execution, content creation, entertainment marketing, sponsorship and brand analytics.

Position: Group Head - Media Planning

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for understanding client's marketing objectives/goals and agency deliverables

- Should have the ability to contribute to key strategic recommendations based on client's brief and challenges

- Should have the capability to design integrated 360 degree campaigns

- Should be enthusiast in data mining to arrive at media platform and innovations

- Will spearhead all the key businesses of the company

- Diligently work towards making the company a top performing agency

- Ensure the team follows due processes

- Work on the training needs of the team

- Should have experience in managing a team and P&L activities.

- Result oriented approach and good communication skills are must

- Responsible for contributing ideas to grow the clients business

- Pro-actively providing the clients marketing plans with the greatest amount of value-ad

- Develops comprehensive agendas for weekly client planning/status meetings

Skills Required:

- The candidate should have at least 3-7 years of media planning experience, in one of the leading media agency houses. Should have worked extensively on TV and print; handled multi media campaigns

- Good communication skills - for client interface

- Should be well-versed in media software's including TAM, IRS, Adex, etc

- Ideal candidate should be from Media Planning and Buying background and have experience in managing a team and P&L

- Result oriented approach and good communication skills are must
