- We are looking for an experienced Group Head of Human Resources to lead the HR functions across the group.


- The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the higher education or ed-tech sectors, with comprehensive skills in recruiting, training, and policy development.


- This role requires a strategic thinker who can align HR initiatives with the group's values and strategic objectives, ensuring a cohesive and supportive work environment for both teaching and non-teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for teaching and non-teaching roles across the country. Utilize proactive sourcing techniques to engage potential candidates and align new hires with the university's values and culture.

- Diverse Roles: Identify talent to fulfill diverse roles in a University, ranging from Marketing, HR, Administration, Research, Teaching and non Teaching.

- Training and Development: Organize and oversee training programs to enhance employee skills and support professional development. Implement leadership development initiatives and succession planning to promote organizational growth.

- HR Policy Formulation: Create, review, and implement HR policies and procedures that promote a fair and efficient work environment. Ensure all HR practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee the payroll function to ensure accurate and timely processing of wages. Manage benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and meet the needs of employees.

- Employee Orientation and Exit Procedures: Manage comprehensive orientation programs for new employees to foster integration and understanding of the university's values. Conduct exit interviews to gather insights and improve retention strategies.

- Team Management: Lead the HR department, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and effective service delivery. Act as a mentor and coach to HR staff.

- Employee Relations and Support: Serve as a primary contact for employee concerns, fostering a supportive and responsive HR presence. Manage conflict resolution and ensure a positive organizational climate.

- Technological Proficiency: Leverage the latest HR management tools and technology to enhance efficiency and provide strategic data-driven insights to leadership.

Qualification & Experience:

- The candidate should be a graduate or MBA with 15 to 25 years of experience in human resources, specifically within higher education institutions or universities.


- They should also have at least 5 years in a leadership role, with proven experience in implementing HR processes, strategies, policies, and procedures.
