I represent Quest Consultants (www.questconsultants.in), which has a 39 year lineage having been founded by IIT, IIM graduates. It continues to be anchored by them. The company operates out of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.
An extremely well-known Indian Business House has entrusted us with the selection of a Group Head HR for their corporate office based at Bangalore. The company has manufacturing plants and sales offices across India and has a workforce in excess of 6000 nos.
The ideal candidate should be a seasoned HR generalist having at least 20+ years of experience in a manufacturing / product company. The incumbent would be responsible for managing the entire Human Resources Function and advising and influencing the business functions as well as the promoters on HR related matters. Those who have had exposure to interacting closely with highly qualified techno professionals / promoters will find this position attractive. He will have a strong and competent HR team to support him.

Position Summary :
Plan, direct, and coordinate human resource management activities for the company to maximize the strategic use of human resources. The role holder will work closely with the MD and the promoters.
The Principal Responsibilities shall be:
1. Responsible for implementation and monitoring of a range of human resource programs across the organization for all category of employees.
2. Accountable for the HR deliverables like recruitment, performance management, coaching and mentoring process, people engagement initiatives and a varied range of employee services.
3. Responsible for implementation, interpretation and communication of all HR policies and guidelines for all categories of employees in co-ordination with top management.
4. Drive wide-ranging HR development processes in guidance and co-ordination from top management and be responsible for execution to appropriate levels.
5. Liaising and co-ordination with the senior management and cross functional teams in addressing various people related issues and implementation of the issues through appropriate level in the organization.
6. To ensure that the organization becomes an employer of choice and take initiatives and implement the same for Employee Banding.
Skills & Behaviour:
The incumbent needs to be a strong leader with an ability to provide leadership at all levels below him in the organisation. He must have good people skills, be a persuasive communicator, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and be capable of thinking with innovation and creativity. He should have an excellent man-management skills and building relationships, at all levels.
The current CTC of the incumbent should not exceed Rs 1.5 crores.
