About The role:
This role is for our Analytics and Data Science practice. Leveraging data throughout every step is critical to achieving our mission. We are looking for a passionate analyst that is excited about the challenge of going from zero to one- and from "one to N- on all things data, analytics, BI, products
- Nurture, support, challenge, and improve upon Wavemaker's technology culture.
- Identify, analyze, model and report on client's business KPIs and performance.
- Work cross functionally with our internal stakeholders, clients and partners to identify trends and insights ranging from analytical consulting to project management.
- Solve ambiguous problems using data and providing practical and actionable insights to multiple stakeholders in the organization as well as to the clients
- Understand business challenges and transform them into advanced analytics machine learning data mining problems; use your analytics toolbox to effectively solve them.
- Design and maintain best-in-class analytical solutions, data workflows and standards
- Conceptualize and build dashboards that are simple, visually appealing, yet showcase a powerful story.
- Comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data to discover actionable insights and provide recommendations.
- Perform hands-on analysis of large volumes of data and across multiple data sets primarily using SQL, Big data technologies, Python, R.
- Establish data quality standards and policies to ensure our data is of high quality and accuracy.
- Consult and support ad-hoc requests for data and analysis.
- Help recruit and mentor a growing team of leading data professionals.
Requirement:
- 4-10 years of professional industry experience in AI-ML based analytical modeling, data analysis, business intelligence, or similar analytics roles, experience at start-ups a plus.
- Experience with modern data analysis tools like SQL, Python, R, and GitHub Experience with the Business Intelligence platforms and concepts, like or similar to- PowerBI or Data Studio or Tableau.
- Experience in manipulating large data sets from multiple sources (SQL, Big data tech), uncovering insights, and providing impactful recommendations to clients.
- Experience driving projects from ideation to production including gathering requirements, wrangling data sources, and presenting results to stakeholders.
- Experience working within a cloud-based infrastructure, ideally AWS or GCP.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of advertising and marketing landscape is a plus
