Our client with nearly two decades of presence has established itself as the second-largest credit rating agency in India. They provide ratings in the financial sector, infrastructure sector, corporates, public finance, and MSME spaces. The company is headquartered in Mumbai and has regional offices at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, New Delhi, Pune, and Mauritius.
Our client also carries out grading of IPOs, assesses the financial strength of shipyards, grades various courses of Educational institutions and provides grading services to Energy service companies. They are nurturing global opportunities and have made forays in different forms with 4 partners from Brazil, Portugal, Malaysia, and South Africa.
As the Group Head-BD, you will do contributing to the business development unit of the company-sharing of best practices, interaction with counterparts
What you will do :
- Adapting to market developments and endeavor to obtain big ticket clients
- Completing of the commitments in the due time frame
- Competing intelligence/ Report System efficiency
- Tracking case completion with Rating group on a regular basis
- Branding Building Strategies / Corporate Communication
- Maintaining cordial relationships with clients & taking personal responsibility for customer satisfaction
- Focusing on understanding and meeting customer needs & being dedicated to meeting the expectations of customers
- Monitoring market intelligence within the industry in terms of market development, new projects, competitive activity, new customers, etc.
- Implementing new business development initiatives
- Ensuring that the required documentation is completed for all new business opportunities
- Ensuring that the BD Team works effectively and prioritize workloads
- Leading & guiding the Business Development Team
- Handling meetings with key clients.
- Representing the company at various forums & events
Candidate Profile :

- Efficient in multitasking and ability to handle complex situations
- Thorough Product knowledge & Market knowledge
- Exhibits extensive Job knowledge contributing to business development and growth
- Exhibits strong conceptual clarity and understanding of credit ratings, rating exercise and its internal processes
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with team, associates, and superiors
- Has to be a good team player -high team spirit & coordination ability
- MBA/PGDM mandatory
Experience : 15 to 20 years
