Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations:
- Lead and supervise the preparation of consolidated financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) for the entire group.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e. , Indian GAAP).
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Oversee the consolidation of accounts across subsidiaries or business units.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Implement and maintain a robust system of internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable financial regulations and laws (e. , Companies Act, SEBI regulations).
- Oversee tax compliance, including GST and income tax.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Provide effective leadership, mentorship, and coaching to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and performance appraisal of accounting staff.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) designation with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (CA preferred).
- Proven track record of success in leading financial reporting and accounting operations within a group environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards (e., Indian GAAP) and relevant financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to build and motivate a high-performing team.
- Experience in managing external audits and liaising with auditors.
- Proficiency in financial accounting software and reporting tools
