Group Finance Controller - Construction Firm - CA

Position: - Group Finance Controller

A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT PREFERABLY FROM REAL ESTATE/ INFRASTRUCTURE/ENGINEERING /CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES PREFERRED

CANDIDATES PREFERABLY FROM CHENNAI/BANGLORE WOULD FIT THE ROLE

Job Description:

- Responsible for overall financial controls of the group including Budgeting, accounting, MIS, Compliance and Taxation.

- Anchor the project feasibility sign off process and continuously monitor the actual vs budgeted cost to highlight variances and work with key stakeholders to optimize profitability.

- Handle a team of 15 members and ensure day to day finance operations.

- Plan and monitor cash flows of the company.

- Ensure 100% statutory compliance including Audit, Taxation and secretarial compliance.

- Proactive profit planning for the entire group and guide the management on key milestones to be achieved.

- Streamlining of process to ensure adequate financial controls and zero leakage.

- Formalise a system of MIS that can support senior management in decision making.

- Groom next level of capable young leaders in the team.

Qualification:

- CA with 18 - 20 years of experience with a Minimum of 5 years as CFO or one level below CFO in a reputed company.

- Excellent oral and written communication

- Maturity to work with multiple stakeholders in high growth environment and deliver results.

Salary Range: 25 lakhs fixed + Variable linked to performance.

Reporting: Position reports to CEO of the company and has potential to become CFO within 18 months if shows high performance.
