About OrangeSomething (Grofers incubated Startup) : OrangeSomething.com is a direct-to-consumer platform for affordable beauty & personal care. It was started in July- 19 with the mission of making beauty & personal care affordable & available to each & everyone in India. Within 4 months of the span, OrangeSomething has touched 1.5 Lakhs+ lives from all the corners of India. At OrangeSomething, we believe in improving the quality of life of our customers by providing quality Beauty and Personal Care products at very affordable prices. Roles & Responsibilities : 1. You will be working with a cross-functional product team and will be accountable for making them data-informed and helping them get insights from business as well as engagement data. 2. You will be responsible for setting up monitoring around business metrics. 3. You will be expected to keep a constant eye on these metrics and make sure that any anomalies are caught early and that we learn from them. 4. You will be responsible for managing data for any experiments or new features - including strategy for measurement, dashboarding, tracking and documentation of learnings. 5. You will be expected to strategize and execute deep analysis to come up with insights and to answer questions around the problems your team is solving. 6. Utilize the customer database to form customer profiles & segments. Analyze customer behavior and define key customer personas based on it. 7. Design the data flow (from defining an event to create an analytics dashboard) in collaboration with the Data Engineering team 8. Work with cross-functional teams (Demand, product, supply) to derive the right metrics to measure the performance of their experiments 9. Strategize and execute deep analysis to come up with insights and to answer questions around the problems your team is solving Desired Skills & abilities : 1. Bachelor/Master's degree in engineering and 5-8 years of experience in consumer analytics 2. Deep understanding of Marketing & Web Analytics 3. Proficiency in data analysis and prior experience to programming languages- SQL, Python & R. 4. Having a basic understanding of ETL processes & demonstrated experience in visualization tools like Tableau etc. 5. Familiarity with Google Analytics / ClevarTap is a plus 6. Good communication skills. Should have the ability to generate data-driven insights and convert them into actionable.
