Grofers - Associate Director - Warehouse Operations - IIM/XLRI/NITIE/FMS/MDI

Job Responsibility - 

1. Responsible for driving end to end warehouse operations for the entire region including inbound, inventory management, outbound and returns operations

2. Manpower management of 600+ employees including planning, budgeting, recruitment, performance assessment and handling all employee grievances

3. Owing profit and loss for all the facilities under control

4. Driving cost control measures and process improvement initiatives at the facilities by using lean or six sigma

5. Managing cross functional stakeholders and ensuring smooth coordination amongst different teams

6. Designing and maintaining warehouse KPIs and metrics aimed at improving the overall efficiency of the facility

Key Skills and Abilities - 

1. MBA in Supply Chain Operations from tier 1 campus with an overall experience of 7-8 years in warehouse operations

2. Understanding of warehouse operations and concepts along with the principles of lean and six sigma

3. Prior experience in FMCG/groceries segment will be an advantage

4. Knowledge the different SOPs/SLAs and metrics used at the warehouse

5. Ability to manage a larger population including both off roll and on roll employees
