Job Description :

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our fast-growing People Analytics Team. As a part of this team, you will be building and validating statistical models in people practice areas as well as productizing them.

The ideal candidate combines strong business and analytical skills with project management and ability to influence others with 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics product development, market research, business strategy and/or consulting.

Key Responsibilities :

Research and develop statistical models for data analysis.Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis. Convert ad-hoc models into comprehensive product solutions

Continuously stay abreast of new technology by revamping models, products and strategy

Constant research and exploring newer ways to analyze and test hypotheses of relationships and patterns in data. Publication of research material on key areas after extensive analysis and validation

Establish strong relationships with various internal and external teams to gain an understanding of their business, strategies, objectives, and tactics to enable solutioning and product development through statistical models and technology platforms

Key Skills :

Bachelors/ Master's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering or related field

Strong analytical skills with hands on experience in various statistical modelling techniques and its applications to business problems

Knowledge of forecasting, marketing models and techniques along with machine learning algorithms desirable

Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis

Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation

Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills

5+ years hands on experience with SAS/R, ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics

Knowledge of languages such as Java/Python an added advantage
