Plant Head (Ex Army/Air Force Officer)

GFB Great Foods is looking for Retired Army/Air Force officers with an engineering background for the position of Plant Head.

The incumbent will be solely responsible and accountable for our plant located at Manesar and will be an important member of the management.

As Plant Manager, this role will be responsible & accountable for planning & leading all aspects of the organization’s manufacturing, logistics & supply chain strategies, objectives, initiatives and policies; ensuring uninterrupted operations of all equipment, machinery & industrial services, ensuring the best design & continuous improvement of each process in terms of the operation cost & efficiency.

Job Description:

1. Drive operations team towards execution of Business Goals using Manufacturing methodology

2. Monitor & improve cost productivity while ensuring all commitments are met in a timely, qualitative, cost effective & compliant manner

3. Establish and direct plant policies and procedures.

4. Ensure Quality of the products manufactured at the plant.

5. Ensure delivery of finish goods to all our distributors and dealers.

6. Facilitate growth & expansion opportunities

7. Ensure sufficient capacity exists to achieve all commitments

8. Establish all production schedules and meet delivery and quality expectations

9. Be responsible for driving continuous improvements in factory yield

10. Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in productivity,service level agreement, quality, inventory and health safety

11. Develop and create training plans to maximize workforce capability

Job Specification:

The incumbent needs to a retired Air Force/Army Officer with an engineering background with relevant industry experience.
