Roles and responsibilities :

- Part of valuations team and will have to undertake assignments related to business valuation, equity valuation, financial reporting valuation like impairment testing, purchase price allocation, financial instrument valuation, regulatory valuations under FEMA. Companies Act and IT regulations, Private Equity valuations.

- Clear idea on valuation methodologies and approaches.

- Effectively use the databases like CapitalIQ, Thomson Reuters, EMIS, RoyaltyStats, Venture Intelligence.

- Extraction of market data, comparable company analysis, financial statement analysis of the historical and projected financials of the subject company / asset to be valued.

- Performing ratio analysis on historical financials of the company as well as ratio analysis on comparable companies.

- Conduct detailed data analysis and come up with relevant insights as per the engagement scope and expected deliverable.

- Undertake research on various private equity transactions.

- Develop valuation model.

- Conversant with the reading of the Balance Sheet.

- Structure engagement deliverables as per the expectations of the project manager and come up with insights from research and analysis conducted on the client information and sector data.

- Learn from the ongoing engagements, have constant urge to learn and avoid repeat errors.

- Ensuring effective internal communication with the team members.

- Proactively seeks work and reach out to continually improve self-results and stretch oneself

- Comply with organizational rules, policies, and procedures

Expected profile :

- MBA in Finance (top tier B-School), CA or CFA (Level 2)

- 0-3 year of experience.

Skill set :

- Strong communication skills- written and verbal

- Strong analytical skills.

- Excellent PPT, Word doc and excel skills

- Attitude: Positive, High on Energy, Value Learning and Development, Inquisitive,

- Interacts with others in a manner that is respectful, patient, tolerant and understanding

- Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic and lead by example

- Willingness to travel within India
