Job Description - The incumbent would work very closely with the MD and National Sales Head, and head the Government Education vertical for the South region

Job Description :
Responsible for revenue generation from Government Sale vertical. Drive sales through the creation of a government strategy, sales management and strategic leadership.
- Steer the organization through early opportunity identification, account engagement, project level engagement & execution.
- Competitively engage with all the business touch points including engaging with powerful strategic Government departments, agencies and large business aggregators.
- Put in place strategies to ensure 100% presence across all emerging business opportunities within the identified business verticals (system integration, smart education and e-governance) & also ensure that the company emerges competitive and in a winning position.
- Apply both strategic go-to-market models and more tactical approaches aimed at growing profitable Government engagements and revenue base.
- Build a good sales network, enhanced prospects list and sales pipeline. Develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base
- Interact with all functional heads of the client company (Govt.) to understand their business processes / complexities for mapping appropriate IT solutions.
- Build a cohesive, productive team, leverage individual skills and collective talents for making winning proposals and associated business development efforts.
- Mentoring, designing sales training and incentive programs. Manage the sales teams for effective market penetration and revenue generation.
- Co-ordinate, lead, motivate and mobilize the company's sales, pre-sales, marketing and delivery teams.
- Developing strong ties and relationships with bureaucrats to explore further areas & possibilities of business engagement.
Experience: Minimum of 18-20 years of experience in a sales leadership position out of which at least 10 years of experience working with the Government accounts (Center/State). Exposure to Samargh Sikhsha Abhyaan will be highly preferred.
- Sales-Record: Proven sales record of working on big-ticket or high-value government sales tenders (typically 10 Cr. upwards) is a must.
- Technical Know-how: Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT services (like system integration, smart education and e-governance) is a must.
- Leadership: Team-player, strategic thinker & problem solver with the ability to be hands-on.
- Travel: Must be open to travel (positions involves approx. 15 days travel in a month)
- Opportunity to scale a grand vision and work closely with the MD at a leadership level
