Governance & Risk Analyst

- Collect and validate exposure information from data owners across the company

- Pre-process information and design and operate exposure monitoring reports

- Design and implement Data Governance processes

- Execute processes and controls as specified in data quality control framework

- Investigate risk-related issues as they arise

- Execute operational activities as required

- Maintain a close and transparent communication with team colleagues as well as with all internal and external stakeholders

- Education from IIT/ NIT/ REC (Engineering, Natural sciences, Finance, Economics)

- Work experience in business analytics and data management

- Work experience in Insurance with strong knowledge on L&H/P&C business

- Work experience in Data Governance and Data quality framework is preferred

- Data base know-how (SQL) and programming skills or expertise in Advanced MS Excess/Access be an advanced excel knowledge (using advanced formulae and macros, various lookups etc.)

- Good communicator, experience in a multi-cultural environment

- Strong analytical skills as well as high interest in quantitative tasks

- Open minded and open to for change in a dynamic environment
