Position Description :

Reporting directly to the Head-Retail, Consumer PBU, this position has full responsibility to train and coach our Sales teamand channel partners. This role provides internal training expertise to our customers and Goodyear associates with focus on the retail sales trainings and increasing effectiveness of retail activities at Goodyear branded retail stores.

Keyareas of focus are:

- Owning the end-to-end learning and development training program from design and creation to delivery.

- Execution of consumer focused sales and retail training of channel partner's staff and Goodyear associates within assigned geography

- Best practice retail stores operations

- How to improve retail stores capability and quality

- Build and implement post training tools to analyze training effectiveness and work with cross functional team to continually improve training curriculum to meet organizational needs.

Key Activities :

Training-Internal (Classroom based) :

- Training GY own staff

- Portion of Induction program

- SOP

- Store Audit Program

- Retail Fundamentals

Coach Sales Managers (Field based) :

- The SM should become the - Expert- in programs to supervise & coach their group of Sales Reps

- Training as above

- Coaching in how to monitor and implement (SOP, Store Audit, Retail improvement)

Evaluate & Coach Sales Reps (Field based) :

- Evaluate Sales Rep Journey Planning and coach in : SOP, Store Audit, Retail Improvement

- Can be at specific request of Sales Managers

In Store Training and Improvement :

- Assist Sales Rep and SM to Conduct training in-store for Retail fundamentals

- Assess store capability and implement store improvement programs

Principal Responsibilities :

- Execution of consumer focused sales and retail training of channel partner's staff and Goodyear associates within assigned geography

- Identification and analysis of the training requirements, in connection with the Country business strategy

- Definition and establishment of deployment schedule for training offerings

- Guarantees relevance and the quality of his training offer and its deployment

- Anchoring and assisting GY retail stores improvement activities

- Training/coaching of GY Associates, Sales managers and channel partners to increase effectiveness of retail activities

- Track, benchmark and report on training progress and skills mastery to demonstrate overall performance improvement

- Partner with Sales team as a coach to improve sales acumen - retail activities, cold calling techniques/best practices, SOPs, territory planning, account/pipeline management, etc.

Required Experience :

- Above 8 years of experience, with minimum 3 years in sales Training/Customer Service/Retail Stores

- An understanding of tire industry and products would be a distinct advantage

Personal Skills/ Attributes :

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills

- Drive for results, strong business acumen, good interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others

- Able to work in cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.

- Ability and desire to do travel, 60% of the time
