Our division also provides critical operations design and handles capital markets operations to ensure business flows smoothly across our global offices. Accounting Services is responsible for the settlement of vendor invoices and employee travel and entertainment expenses. Additional responsibilities include management of the firm's budgetary approval and vendor databases, expense management/operational reporting and the corporate card program.. Our goal is to continue to manage and settle firm liabilities in a timely and accurate manner. This is accomplished by building scalability and efficiency into our processes, providing greater visibility and guidance to the business by leveraging our expertise, and exploring synergies with Firmwide initiatives in order to efficiently manage our business while minimizing operational risk.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential :

- Understand the details of key processes and their interactions both upstream and downstream

- Exhibit good working knowledge concerning relevant markets, products, processes, regulations and systems required to achieve business objectives

- Work with IT on the development and enhancement of processes and systems

- Know your clients, understand their strategy, systems and infrastructure, needs and requirements

- Represent the function or unit internally with other areas of the firm and externally with regulators, clients and industry contacts

- Minimize financial, reputational and regulatory risk to the firm and its clients

- Analyze and resolve exceptions, escalate risk items to management and the business

- Work towards improving efficiency & control of existing processes

- Defining and implementing necessary controls for new business flows in emerging and growth markets

- Exhibit confidence in communicating in a variety of forums, including, formal presentations, training sessions and town halls.

- Managing risks in the process by implementing and reviewing relevant controls.

- Represent Accounting Services on various cross department initiatives

Skills & Experience We- Re Looking For :

- Extensive experience in managing platform changes in the accounts payable space, including experience with PeopleSoft Accounts Payable 8.x and 9.x

- Energetic and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

- Be responsible for and willing to continuously invest in learning/training to stay abreast of constantly changing policy requirements including keeping up-to-date with industry developments.

- Relevant experience in an operational functional change management position or similar role with a proven track record for processes, functions and driving change.

- Strong communication skills essential for interacting at all levels across business disciplines, regions and clients externally.

- Strong influencing skills essential. Capable of assertively interacting with business stakeholders and counterparts in order to resolve day to day issues, control risks and improve operational efficiency.

- Strong problem solving skills/ability to hold clear and concise conversations with internal and external business partners.

- Develop new processes and re-engineer current processes to meet changing needs of the business.

- Highly organized individual with attention to detail and excellent ability to execute on deliverables.

- Experience in working with business and technology partners to develop functional specifications to address complex business needs.

- Leader who works effectively in a team setting and is creative about providing innovative solutions (new processes, technologies and approaches).
