About the Role:
- Are you a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a passion for the future of mobility? Gogoro is seeking a talented Business Development Manager (EV Partnerships) to join their growing team in India.
- In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with B2B clients, particularly focusing on last-mile logistics and e-commerce companies.
- You will be responsible for driving mutual growth by building strong relationships, collaborating on joint business initiatives, and enabling Gogoro's partners to maximize their potential and revenue streams.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development:
- Identify and cultivate new B2B partnership opportunities within the last-mile logistics and e-commerce sectors.
- Develop and execute strategies to build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Collaborate with partners on joint business initiatives to achieve shared goals.
Sales & Account Management:
- Function as a top-performing sales hunter, actively prospecting for new business opportunities and closing deals.
- Create and manage a sales pipeline by industry vertical (e-commerce, F&B, last-mile logistics) to drive consistent month-on-month growth.
- Develop compelling quotes and proposals for potential partners, guiding them through the sales cycle to successful closure.
- Manage existing client relationships, ensuring their satisfaction and driving ongoing business expansion.
Market Development & Visibility:
- Champion the Gogoro ecosystem, fostering its growth and increasing brand visibility within the Indian market.
- Participate in industry conferences, meetings, and events to generate new leads and build brand awareness.
- Stay informed about evolving customer needs, market trends, and advancements in the EV industry.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding market dynamics and strategic opportunities.
Teamwork & Leadership:
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Participate in team training and development initiatives, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Provide regular progress reports to leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and support needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred, but not mandatory).
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the mobility, transportation, logistics industries.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and managing strategic partnerships with key accounts.
- Strong understanding of commercial considerations and unit economics within the B2B space.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Openness to relocation within India as the role may require a shift in location in the future
